It is my sincere pleasure to welcome you to the Sandbox! I am so excited to launch this new venture as it represents years of working closely with nonprofit, government and corporate leaders. At its essence, we will help organizations build their workplace culture for retention and long-term planning whether it’s helping build brand awareness or helping a company achieve its business goals, Sandbox Lessons is a partner that will design customized programs to help motivate teams and inspire them around an organization’s mission and services.
The Sandbox Lessons website, as you can see, is now up and running. I want to thank Shaun Mehr at the Mehr Media Group who built and designed a thoughtful and intuitive website. I met Shaun several years ago when we were both helping the Center for Nonprofit Management relaunch its website. We bonded over the needs of nonprofits and talked about the types of services they needed to raise their brand awareness and funds. His vision for what Sandbox Lessons could look like truly inspired me.
Having read my book, Playing Together in the Sandbox, Shaun recognized the importance of the red ball and how it brought people together. I took his initial concept to a former creative designer from my previous agency, Ryan Boser, based in Seattle, WA. Ryan took Shaun’s concept and built out the official Sandbox Lessons logo and color palette that we are using today. From inclusion on the website, to letterhead and merchandise, I can’t say enough how Ryan’s efforts shaped the look and feel of the Sandbox Lessons brand.
Now that we are up and running, this blog site will have posts from myself and others on the Sandbox Lessons team sharing thoughts on trends, leadership, culture, team building and more that I hope are engaging and leave the reader with thoughtful insight and inspiration. We may throw in a case study or two along the way. So keep an eye on the Sandbox, more to come soon.
