Sandbox Lessons was built on a simple idea: relationships matter most. We are a network of experienced communicators, executives, media experts, and career coaches who bring the right specialists together for every challenge—helping nonprofits raise more, companies build cultures people want to stay in, and students launch careers with confidence.

When I wrote the book, Playing Together in the Sandbox, my original intention was to help children learn about playing nice in the sandbox and remind adults of the simple lessons we learned when we were growing up. Over the past few years, I have had the opportunity to present to numerous organizations and implement communication exercises that remind us about the importance of finding common ground and the importance that authentic relationships play in our lives.
Over the past thirty-five years and a battle with throat cancer, I am bringing together a team of friends and thought leaders who have built relationships across industry sectors. Our passion is to help open doors in the entertainment, nonprofit, government, and corporate industries. I am so motivated and inspired by our team, I wanted to bring them together to build something different.
By creating a corporate “think-tank” of executives with a wide breadth of experience and numerous skill sets that can and will benefit organizations around growth and culture, we could make a positive difference with the organizations and people we work with. It's my sincere pleasure to bring together this interdisciplinary expertise to help organizations grow and thrive.

Why Sandbox Lessons was born.
The past year has been such a challenge. From losing my dad to being diagnosed with cancer, I knew I was going to have to make changes in my life that allowed me to help others the way they helped me through this difficult period.
Sandbox Lessons became the outlet. This new company allows me to offer support and guidance to nonprofits while still allowing me the opportunity to pursue my passion for education, mentoring young professionals and spending quality time with my family and friends.
My vision was simple: bring together like-minded people who also wanted to make a difference. Hence, Sandbox Lessons was born. I can't wait to share more in the weeks and months ahead. I want to thank PR Week and Jess Ruderman for sharing this news and marking an exciting milestone in my career.
Finally, I want to take a moment to thank my peers and former peers at Allison Worldwide. The last twenty-five years truly have been some of the best years in my life and I cherish everything we built together. Cheers to the past and a toast to the future!
